Euro Tuck Simulator 2: The Game, The Mods, The Fun

As I said in my first post, I’m going to share my “truck driving adventure” around the world of Euro Truck Simulator 2. However, before we get there, I just want to show some stuffs related to the game I’m playing.

I don’t play the game “vanillaly” and utilize several mods made by those great modders out there. Those mods include maps (2 of them), environmental stuffs (light flare, weather, etc.), physics (cabin movement, point of view), trucks (especially for Renault as at default, they don’t offer 6 x 4 chassis, either for their Magnum or Premium trucks), and trailers (which offer more variants in shape and color and realistic companies).

Here I’m just going to list the mods I’m currently using. I really wish I could take some screenshots to give better views of the effects of those mods in the game. Maybe some time in the future. I will also provide the links to the site in which you can find them—in case you’re interested.

Okay, here we go! My mod list for my Euro Truck Simulator 2 game:
Maps:
- Promods 1.52 (by Promods Team)
- Poland Rebuilding (by RadolSzczecin)

Trucks and Trailers:
- Renault Premium 6×4 chassis 1.0 (pez2k & Johnf)
- Trailers Cargo Pack v2.1 Eng. (by Jazzycat)
- SCS Cement Trailer (by Bora)
- SCS Glass Trailer (By Bora)
- Route Advisor Mod Collection v4.0 (by Hemil)
- FoV1.8 80 degree (by Bleed)
- Truck Engine Overhaul V1.05 (by TurboJ)
- Mirror Mod v1.4.12 (by Powerstone@all)

Physics:
- Realistic Physics Mod v8.0.1 (by KacaK)

Environment:
- Improved Weather 1.2 (by BlackOpen)
- Realistic Headlight/Taillight Flare (by SiSL)
- True AI Lights v4 (by AlterEgos)

Others:
- ETS2 Essentials V3.1 (by ND4SPD Racer)

There you go. That’s my game configuration. Those mods make the game much more alive, enjoyable, and fun! Don’t get me wrong, I’ve played ETS2 at default without a single mod and it was great. SCS themselves has successfully developed an awesome game as it is. However, it is undeniable that the amazing works of the modders—they who I believe love this game so much and are willing to spend their time to make it better—make the game even better. When all the little details, beautifications, realism touches, and other bits and bobs are improved, Euro Truck Simulator 2 becomes an even better game that offer (the most close to) realistic driving and, at the same time, fun!
