SCS Software's New Patch and DLCs for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (New Stuffs Part 2)

SCS is pushing hard with new patches and DLCs. Seems that my previous post about the 1.9. patch has become obsolete, pretty quickly. SCS Software once again released updates for their bestselling game at the moment, Euro Truck Simulator 2. There are a new patch, 1.10, and some DLCs that will improve your gaming experience.

1.10 is now officially the most recent version of ETS2 and SCS has released it for both Steam users (it will be updated automatically) or non Steam users (you can get it here). There are no big, fundamental changes that might affect the compatibility of your mod collection. So if a mod works in 1.9.x it will surely work in 1.10 too. The tweaks will mildly affect the performance and looks of the trucks, trailers, and the AI vehicles.

Here is the change-log of 1.10 patch:
Code:
- Support for metallic paint jobs
- Fixed possible rare hang or crash
- Physics parameters of the fifth wheel are configurable in physics.sii

Data:
- Updated accessories to support paint jobs
- Corrected speed limits in Austria, Belgium and Germany
- Tweaked prices and unlock levels of some accessories
- Fixed acceleration of traffic
- Tweaked accessories of traffic trucks (badges, mirrors and sunshields)
- Fixed various bugs in truck and trailer models

As you can see, the first listed in the change-log was support for metallic paint jobs and for Steam users, you can complement it with the newly released free Metallic Paint Jobs DLC. To get the free DLC, all you have to do is log into your World of Trucks account and open the “Events” tab. There you will find the code you can use to activate the DLC from your Steam account.

Besides those two updates, SCS software has also already released Country Flag Pint Jobs DLC. However, the bigger update will be the new map DLC. Though SCS has not described yet which countries will the new map cover, some speculations based on the screenshots said it will be some Scandinavian countries. The speculations might be correct or not. Regardless, new countries and cities will surely improve our gaming experience, or in this case our driving experience, in the game Euro Truck Simulator 2.
