[LTVW #001] First Job: Tons of Bamboo around Manchester

Finally, as I promised, here’s my video, the very first one, of my gameplay in the world of trucking across Euro Truck Simulator 2 realm. In case you curious, I have described the setting I use in my previous post. You can see the mods I use for this profile and I have also linked them to the sources where you can get those mods.

As you can see, I started a fresh, new profile here and I choose to play as a female truck driver, hence the profile name “Girly”. I chose Manchester to be my first and main base because I live in a country that has left-hand traffic, so I want to get U.K. cabin for the trucks I drive while I have to “survive” with quick jobs only—in short, while I don’t have any truck.

For my favorite truck, I picked the rather mainstream Volvo FH 2012. From what I’ve read in forums and seen in YouTube, among the ETS2 community, Scania and Volvo are apparently the most used trucks. I personally have two favorites, Volvo and MAN. At the moment, I’m also intrigued to try Iveco Stralis Hi-Way, since it got the title 2013 Truck of the Year, I think it must be quite something. Maybe, I’ll make more profiles in the future and drive those trucks (MAN and Iveco), with different maps and mods.

Now, let’s get back to my fresh “Girly” profile. Here I have to make my debut, delivering my first cargo. I have to haul tons of bamboo—a very long bamboo sticks—just inside Manchester area. As usual, in Euro Truck Simulator 2, the game will provide you your favorite truck for your first job. Therefore, in this video, I drive an awesome FH 2012.
